Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the education sector, and understand the dynamics of K-12 education. Your ability to build relationships with key decision makers at the district level is essential, as is your experience with solution-based selling techniques. You are skilled in negotiation and closing, ensuring that you can effectively prepare and gain approval from school boards. You are familiar with the funding landscape and state initiatives that impact education, which informs your sales strategy. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working closely with various departments to achieve your goals.

A background in managing a sales pipeline and forecasting is beneficial, as is the ability to design lead generation campaigns that resonate with educators.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining an aggressive pipeline of potential clients within your territory. You will create and adjust strategic account plans for key accounts, guiding them through the sales cycle from initial contact to closing. Your day-to-day activities will include pipeline creation, management, and forecasting, as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless sales process. You will engage in regular meetings with the executive leadership team to discuss deal strategies and industry trends, ensuring that you are well-supported in your efforts.
