Postman is seeking an SMB Account Executive to manage a territory of accounts in Japan. You'll work to build strategies for existing users and introduce them to the Enterprise Suite. This role requires experience in driving sales growth at Technical SaaS companies.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within Technical SaaS companies, and understand the nuances of managing accounts with up to 1,000 employees. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to drive significant sales growth, and you thrive in environments where you can build relationships and foster collaboration. You are passionate about technology and have a keen interest in APIs, which aligns with Postman's mission to simplify the API lifecycle for developers.
You are a strategic thinker who can analyze account performance and develop tailored approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate the value of Postman's offerings effectively. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and understand the importance of collaboration in achieving sales targets.
Experience in the API space or familiarity with Postman's platform would be a plus, as would any background in managing inbound leads and converting them into long-term clients. You are adaptable and open to learning, ready to embrace the challenges that come with a rapidly growing sales team.
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of accounts across Japan, focusing on existing Postman users. Your primary goal will be to understand how these clients are utilizing Postman and to introduce them to the full capabilities of our Enterprise Suite. You will develop strategies to engage with these accounts, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to maximize their use of our platform.
You will work closely with the sales team to identify new inbound leads and convert them into active users of Postman. This will involve conducting needs assessments, presenting tailored solutions, and following up to ensure client satisfaction. You will also collaborate with marketing to align on campaigns that drive user acquisition and retention.
Your success will be measured by your ability to grow account revenue and expand Postman's footprint within your territory. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of your sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and actionable.
