Senior Python Engineer, Customer Value Track (Workflows)

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, particularly with Python, and have a solid understanding of building scalable systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy mentoring others, helping them grow in their technical skills. Your experience includes developing automation tools and making impactful technical decisions that drive product success.

You are passionate about creating efficient and user-friendly workflows, understanding the importance of user experience in document management. You have a track record of working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features that meet customer needs. You are comfortable with remote work and can effectively communicate and collaborate with team members across different locations.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD practices would be a plus, as well as familiarity with Agile methodologies. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving needs of the team and product.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on enhancing the workflows and user flows within PandaDoc’s platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing new features that improve the user experience and streamline document processes.

You will also be involved in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the codebase remains maintainable and scalable. You will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them develop their skills. Additionally, you will participate in sprint planning and retrospectives, contributing to the continuous improvement of the engineering process.
