Axon is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive for their Air products to drive engagements with State Patrol agencies. You'll partner with key leaders to deliver drone solutions and manage critical relationships. This role requires strong strategic advisory skills and offers significant autonomy.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in complex environments, and possess the ability to engage with senior public safety leaders. Your experience includes managing critical partner relationships and driving high-impact engagements. You understand the nuances of public safety operations and are adept at navigating the regulatory landscape that governs these agencies.
Experience with drone technology or public safety solutions would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with the specific needs and challenges faced by State Patrol agencies will help you excel in this role. A background in strategic sales or account management within the technology sector is also beneficial. You are a strong communicator, capable of articulating complex solutions to diverse audiences, and you have a knack for building trust and rapport with clients.
As a Senior Strategic Account Executive at Axon, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of Air products, including drones and counter-drone solutions, within State Patrol agencies. You will work closely with the Key Account Leader to develop and execute strategies that meet the unique needs of these agencies. Your role will involve serving as a strategic advisor, helping clients understand how to leverage drone technology to enhance public safety operations. You will manage critical relationships, including partnerships with companies like Skydio, to ensure integrated solutions are delivered effectively.
You will be expected to travel at least 60% of the time, engaging with clients across a broad territory that includes multiple states. Your ability to connect with stakeholders and understand their operational challenges will be key to your success. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that the solutions provided align with client expectations and regulatory requirements. Your insights will help shape product development and marketing strategies, ensuring that Axon's offerings remain at the forefront of public safety technology.
