You are skilled in budget management and have a strong track record of developing teams and fostering positive employee relations. You understand the importance of safety and quality in operations and are committed to meeting performance objectives. You are a natural leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring others, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their performance. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvements and have experience implementing Lean initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are adept at building relationships across various departments to secure support for projects and initiatives.
As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Spartanburg Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, setting clear expectations and measuring performance to ensure that operational goals are met. You will drive the creation of quality initiatives and process change initiatives, leveraging your expertise to enable your functional area to exceed business plans. You will take proactive steps to share best practices across departments and shifts, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common objectives. You will collaborate closely with support staff from HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and IT to build and secure the necessary resources for your projects. Your role will also involve coaching and mentoring your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
