N26 is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to join their Anti-Financial Crime Compliance team. You'll execute compliance testing activities and enhance the control framework. This role requires strong collaboration skills and experience in compliance controls.
You have a strong background in compliance, particularly within the financial sector, and possess a keen understanding of Anti-Financial Crime regulations. With at least 5 years of experience, you have successfully executed compliance testing activities and contributed to the enhancement of compliance frameworks. Your analytical skills allow you to assess control effectiveness and identify gaps in compliance processes. You are adept at preparing high-quality control reports and communicating findings to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive compliance initiatives forward. Your commitment to continuous learning and development is evident in your proactive approach to adopting best practices in compliance.
Experience in the Spanish market is a plus, as is familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to the region. You may also have a background in governance reporting and internal control assessments, which would further enhance your contributions to the team.
In this role, you will plan, design, and execute independent compliance controls and testing activities as part of the 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD) framework. You will assess the effectiveness of controls, identify compliance gaps, and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed control reports that communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders. You will track and follow up on remediation actions to ensure timely resolution of compliance issues. Additionally, you will contribute to internal governance and regulatory reporting, including the annual AFC internal control report. Your role will also involve supporting the review and continuous improvement of the AFC control plan and methodologies, ensuring alignment with best practices and effective collaboration with other teams.
