Airwallex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Payments Platform to develop and enhance their unified payments solutions. You'll work with Java and Spring to build robust APIs. This role requires strong backend engineering experience.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in backend development, and have a proven track record of building scalable systems. Your expertise in Java and Spring is complemented by your ability to design and implement RESTful APIs that serve high-traffic applications. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy tackling complex problems with innovative solutions. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have a strong understanding of payment systems and financial technologies. Your analytical mindset allows you to make data-driven decisions, and you are always eager to learn and adapt to new technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Payments Platform at Airwallex. You will design and implement new features that enhance the user experience and improve the efficiency of payment processing. Collaborating closely with product managers and other engineers, you will ensure that the platform meets the needs of our diverse client base. You will also be involved in code reviews, providing mentorship to junior engineers, and contributing to the overall technical direction of the team.
