Forbes is seeking a Senior Manager, eCommerce Partnerships to build and grow direct partnerships with retailers. This role requires strong sales skills and experience in managing client relationships.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in partnership management or sales, ideally within the eCommerce sector — you've successfully built and nurtured relationships with key retail partners, driving significant business growth. Your ability to define and execute account plans has led to unlocking investments and improving key performance metrics for your clients.

You are a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment — you understand the nuances of eCommerce partnerships and can navigate complex negotiations to secure optimal deal terms. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively pitch new partnerships and onboard strategic retailers with ease.

You are data-driven and analytical — you monitor performance metrics closely and provide actionable insights to improve BrandSolutions opportunities. Your experience with affiliate marketing and paid search integration has equipped you with the skills to develop a robust sales pipeline.

Desirable

Experience in a media or publishing environment is a plus — you understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry. Familiarity with performance marketing and commission optimization strategies will set you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for retail partners, managing a book of business that includes both existing and new partnerships. You will define and own account plans that drive client success and unlock investments. Your responsibilities will include meeting with potential partners to pitch new opportunities and onboarding new strategic retailers to enhance Forbes' eCommerce offerings.

You will secure higher commission rates and optimal deal terms, ensuring that both Forbes and its partners achieve their business objectives. Your role will also involve creating proposals for new BrandSolutions and responding to RFPs, showcasing your ability to align Forbes' offerings with partner needs.

Monitoring performance for BrandSolutions opportunities will be a key part of your job — you will advise on performance improvement opportunities and develop strategies to enhance overall partnership effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate affiliate, paid search, and branding budgets into a cohesive strategy that drives revenue growth.
