Overview

Tanium is hiring a QA Engineer to test products built on the Tanium platform. You'll design test plans, write test automations with Python, and collaborate with developers and product managers. This role requires strong technical skills and offers a hybrid work environment in Krakow.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a solid background in quality assurance, with experience in testing products and a keen eye for detail. You are comfortable working with developers and product managers to construct and execute test plans based on business requirements. Your technical skills are strong, and you enjoy the challenge of hunting down resource leaks and digging into Windows security configurations. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to the success of your team.

You have experience writing test automations with Python and are familiar with creating and enhancing testing framework components. You understand the importance of functional, performance, and regression testing, and you are skilled at filing detailed bug reports to ensure high-quality products. You are proactive in providing visibility through project updates and managing test plans, progress, and reports.

Desirable

Experience with various operating systems and scripting environment configurations is a plus. You are passionate about quality assurance and are looking for an opportunity to grow within a supportive team.

What you'll do

As a QA Engineer at Tanium, you will design and create unique test plans and test cases based on business requirements. You will write test automations using Python and oversee resources, project plans, and timelines. Your role will involve executing test plans efficiently and opening high-quality bug reports as you discover issues. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure that the products meet the highest standards of quality.
