Rain is hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of intuitive dashboard experiences for their payment solutions. You'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams. This role requires strong design skills and experience in user research.
You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered designs. You excel in leading user research and usability testing, ensuring that your designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and intuitive. Your attention to detail is unmatched, and you think in systems, understanding how different components of a product interact with each other. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and compliance/legal teams, to deliver cohesive and trusted user experiences. You are passionate about shaping the future of digital payments and are excited to work in a hypergrowth environment.
Experience in fintech or payments is a plus, as is familiarity with designing for complex systems. You are proficient in Figma and have a strong understanding of design principles and best practices. You are open to feedback and eager to learn from others, contributing to a culture of collaboration and innovation.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end design process for core product features, from problem framing to shipped UI. You will lead user research initiatives to validate assumptions and uncover pain points, using insights to inform your design decisions. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with the company's vision and user needs. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that your designs are implemented accurately and effectively. Additionally, you will participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the design team. You will also have the opportunity to influence the product roadmap and contribute to strategic discussions about the future direction of the company's offerings.
