Who you are

You are a proactive and people-oriented Benefits & Wellness Manager with a passion for creating a healthy and engaging workplace environment. You have experience in managing benefits programs and wellness initiatives, and you thrive in a collaborative setting where you can lead a small team while also being hands-on in daily operations. You understand the importance of aligning benefits strategies with organizational goals and employee needs, ensuring that the programs you implement are effective and competitive.

You possess strong communication skills that allow you to effectively engage with employees and stakeholders across the organization. You are knowledgeable about compliance and governance related to employee benefits and wellness programs, ensuring that all initiatives adhere to relevant laws and regulations. You are also adept at analyzing market trends to keep the benefits portfolio attractive and relevant.

Desirable

Experience in HR or employee relations is a plus, as is familiarity with health management systems and wellness program design. You are comfortable using data to inform decisions and improve employee experiences, and you are open to learning and adapting to new challenges in the benefits landscape.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Benefits & Wellness team, providing guidance and support to team members while overseeing the overall management of benefits programs. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving wellness initiatives that promote employee health and satisfaction. This includes managing health insurance programs, annual health check-ups, and wellness activities that cater to diverse employee needs.

You will also oversee the administration of leave of absence (LOA) policies, ensuring that employees are informed about their rights and benefits. Your role will involve coordinating with internal stakeholders such as HR Business Partners and Employee Relations to strengthen health management systems and create a conducive work environment.

Additionally, you will facilitate the operation of the health committee, leading monthly meetings and collaborating with occupational physicians and nurses to promote health and safety initiatives. You will ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, conducting annual compliance reviews and responding to audits as necessary.

Your responsibilities will also include vendor management, where you will select and negotiate contracts with benefits service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and monitoring performance against agreed standards. You will play a key role in internal communications, promoting benefits programs through workshops, training sessions, and health campaigns to foster a culture of well-being within the organization.
