Thumbtack is seeking a Manager of Success Operations to enhance the effectiveness of their Success organization. You'll collaborate across various teams to design strategies and processes that drive marketplace outcomes. This role requires strong operational and strategic skills.

Who you are

You have a strong background in operations management, ideally with experience in a customer success or sales environment. You understand how to translate ambitious goals into actionable strategies and have a knack for building reliable processes that drive results. Your analytical mindset allows you to generate insights that guide decision-making, ensuring that the Success organization operates efficiently and effectively.

You are a collaborative partner who thrives in cross-functional environments. You can work closely with teams across Sales, Success, Service, Partnerships, Product, Data Science, and Finance to create clarity and alignment. Your communication skills enable you to articulate complex ideas simply and effectively, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared goals.

You are results-oriented and focused on delivering meaningful impact for both service professionals and customers. You have a track record of defining clear success metrics and driving execution to improve marketplace outcomes. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can adapt strategies as needed to meet evolving business needs.

Desirable

Experience in a technology-driven marketplace or service industry is a plus. Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies will help you in generating insights that inform operational strategies. A background in project management or process improvement methodologies will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As the Manager of Success Operations, you will be responsible for shaping the operational strategies that underpin Thumbtack's Success organization. You will design and implement programs and processes that help service professionals and customers realize value quickly and predictably. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the Success organization operates consistently and scales effectively.

You will translate ambitious marketplace goals into rigorous execution plans, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common objectives. You will define success metrics that measure the effectiveness of the Success organization and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights.

In this role, you will also be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability and performance within the Success organization. You will lead cross-functional projects that enhance operational efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will be crucial in driving alignment and ensuring successful execution of initiatives.
