You'll work closely with Product Managers and Engineers, focusing on user flows and design systems. This role requires strong logical thinking and experience in end-to-end design processes.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a Senior/Staff Product Designer with a proven track record of tackling complex product problems through strong logical thinking. You excel in delivering clear, scalable end-to-end user flows and can seamlessly transition from abstract problem definitions to concrete execution. Your ability to structure complexity and define behaviors and rules allows you to translate them into intuitive, high-quality design solutions. You take ownership of the full design lifecycle, from understanding user and business needs to mapping user flows and edge cases, prototyping, and delivering implementation-ready design specs. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to ensure that designs are not only elegant but also feasible, scalable, and easy to build.

You have experience leading complex product design initiatives from problem definition to launch, with a strong focus on logic, clarity, and end-to-end user flows. You are adept at translating ambiguous requirements and business constraints into clear user journeys, interaction models, and design frameworks. Your expertise includes defining user flows, states, behaviors, and edge cases to ensure predictable and scalable experiences. You deliver high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes that clearly communicate intent, logic, and interaction details. You are committed to championing usability, accessibility, and design consistency across the product ecosystem.

Desirable

You have a background in mentoring designers and raising the bar for design quality, problem-solving, and product thinking. Your experience in contributing to and evolving design systems, interaction patterns, and best practices across products is highly valued. You understand the importance of collaboration and communication in ensuring shared understanding and smooth execution during discovery, grooming, and delivery phases.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead complex product design initiatives from problem definition to launch, ensuring a strong focus on logic, clarity, and end-to-end user flows. You will translate ambiguous requirements and business constraints into clear user journeys, interaction models, and design frameworks. Your responsibilities will include defining user flows, states, behaviors, and edge cases to ensure predictable and scalable experiences. You will deliver high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes that clearly communicate intent, logic, and interaction details. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with PMs and engineers during discovery, grooming, and delivery to ensure a shared understanding and smooth execution of design solutions.

You will contribute to and evolve design systems, interaction patterns, and best practices across products, ensuring that usability, accessibility, and design consistency are championed throughout the product ecosystem. Mentoring designers will be an important aspect of your role, as you help raise the bar for design quality and problem-solving within the team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the design process is efficient and effective, leading to high-quality outcomes that meet user and business needs.

What we offer

At Appier, you will be part of a dynamic team that values creativity and innovation. We offer a collaborative work environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on our products and users. You will have opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as the chance to work on exciting projects that challenge your skills and expand your knowledge. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
