Uber is hiring an Operations & Logistics Manager to support the launch and expansion of new cities. You'll analyze performance trends and drive geo-level interventions to accelerate growth. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
You have a strong background in operations and logistics management, ideally with experience in launching and expanding services in new markets. You enjoy hands-on problem-solving and have a knack for translating strategic goals into actionable plans. Your analytical skills allow you to diagnose performance issues and identify opportunities for improvement. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives. You are comfortable with data analysis and can interpret trends to make informed recommendations. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of different city dynamics, ensuring that each launch is tailored to its unique context.
In this role, you will own the geo performance for assigned cities, acting as the primary point of accountability for outcomes. You will analyze city-level trends and performance drivers, identifying root causes of underperformance and translating insights into clear problem statements. You will recommend and drive geo-level interventions, proposing targeted actions to address issues and capitalize on opportunities. You will collaborate with senior team members to execute playbooks and implement interventions during launch and ramp-up phases. Your role will involve close partnership with Strategy & Planning, Central Ops, and other functional teams to ensure that launches are well-coordinated and executed effectively. You will be responsible for monitoring performance against defined targets and guardrails, surfacing any divergences from expectations. Your hands-on approach will be crucial in driving the success of new market expansions.
