AccuWeather is seeking an Account Executive to drive strategic B2B field sales and develop new sales opportunities. This role requires a metric-driven approach and strong relationship-building skills.
You are a metric-driven Account Executive with a proven track record in driving strategic B2B field sales. You thrive on the responsibility of developing new sales through your stellar efforts with new and existing markets, products, and verticals. You excel in building long-term relationships with clients and understand the importance of customer retention and referrals. Your experience allows you to manage multiple accounts effectively, serving as the single point of contact and expert resource for your customers.
You possess strong skills in lead generation strategy and pipeline management, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and quota attainment. You are comfortable collaborating with various internal teams, including Marketing, Sales Support, and Account Management, to achieve campaign delivery objectives and competitive positioning for AccuWeather. You are passionate about promoting industry-leading solutions and driving engagement at an executive level within target market segments.
Experience in a similar role within the technology or media industry would be advantageous. Familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems can enhance your effectiveness in this position.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic B2B field sales from pipeline development through customer acquisition. You will develop a solid lead generation strategy that allows for customer retention and referrals, closing new business while shortening historical sales cycles. You will lead and manage multiple accounts, fostering long-term, successful relationships with your clients.
You will promote AccuWeather’s industry-leading Enterprise Solutions within your vertical, driving engagement at an executive level within target market segments. Your ability to develop deep relationships within all your accounts will provide 360-degree coverage from end user through executive. You will collaborate with members of the AES team to expand current accounts by introducing the benefits of new products and services to existing customers.
Maintaining effective pipeline management will be crucial for achieving accuracy in forecasting and quota attainment. You will work in conjunction with Marketing, Sales Support, Account Management, and other internal partners to ensure both campaign delivery objectives and proper competitive positioning for AccuWeather. Your role will also involve continuous learning and adapting to the evolving needs of the market and your clients.
