Anthropic is hiring a Strategic Account Executive focused on Investment Banking & Capital Markets to drive the adoption of AI solutions. You'll leverage consultative sales expertise to secure enterprise deals in a complex financial environment. This role requires strong sector knowledge and sales acumen.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in consultative sales, particularly within the investment banking and capital markets sectors — your experience has equipped you with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and engage with decision-makers effectively. You understand the unique procurement dynamics and budget cycles that govern financial institutions, allowing you to tailor your sales strategies accordingly.

Your deep knowledge of the financial services landscape enables you to become a trusted partner to stakeholders as they navigate the deployment of AI technologies in highly regulated environments. You are adept at building relationships and fostering collaboration across various teams, including product, policy, and marketing, to ensure a cohesive approach to market entry and strategy.

You thrive in high-stakes environments and are comfortable managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Your ability to design and execute sales strategies that resonate with clients is a key strength, and you are motivated by the challenge of driving revenue growth in a competitive market.

Desirable

Experience with AI technologies and their applications in finance would be a significant advantage, as would familiarity with the regulatory landscape affecting capital markets. You are a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for innovation and transformation within traditional workflows.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting new business opportunities to closing strategic enterprise deals within investment banking and capital markets accounts. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by leveraging your consultative sales expertise and deep sector knowledge. Your role will involve navigating complex organizational structures to reach decision-makers across various functions, including front office, middle office, and technology.

You will design and execute tailored sales strategies that address the unique procurement dynamics and risk considerations of your clients. Collaborating closely with the go-to-market, product, policy, and marketing teams, you will help shape Anthropic's approach to this critical vertical and define how AI can transform capital markets.

Your success will be measured by your ability to secure new business and establish long-term partnerships with key stakeholders. You will also play a vital role in educating clients about the benefits of AI technologies and how they can enhance their workflows in deal execution, research production, trading operations, and client advisory.
