You have 5+ years of experience in engineering management, leading teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your background includes working with full stack technologies, and you understand the intricacies of building consumer-facing applications. You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Data Science, to create seamless user experiences. You have a strong technical foundation, particularly in Java and JavaScript, and are comfortable guiding your team through complex technical challenges. You are passionate about mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Experience in search technologies or building search-driven products is a plus. Familiarity with mobile and web platforms will help you lead your team effectively in delivering end-to-end search experiences. You are also open to exploring new technologies and methodologies that can enhance the team's output and efficiency.
As the Engineering Manager for the Search Experience team, you will lead a group of talented full stack engineers in developing the systems that power the search functionality on DoorDash.
