Handshake is seeking Adult Education & ESL Instructors to contribute to an AI research project. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide structured feedback. No AI experience is required for this role.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in adult basic education, secondary education, or ESL instruction. You are skilled in evaluating and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs, preparing and conducting classes using various instructional techniques, and maintaining student records. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines. You are open to learning new skills and contributing to the development of AI in your field. You understand the importance of clear communication and structured feedback in enhancing AI models.
In this role, you will evaluate AI models based on your professional experience and provide feedback that helps improve their understanding of workplace tasks and language. You will develop prompts for AI models that reflect your field and assess the responses generated by these models. The work is flexible, allowing you to choose your hours and work asynchronously from anywhere in the United States. You will participate in a year-round program with project opportunities opening periodically, depending on availability. Your contributions will help shape how AI is utilized in adult education and ESL contexts.
