Dropbox is seeking a Senior Brand Writer to refine and scale their brand voice across various platforms. You'll collaborate with multiple teams to ensure clarity and engagement in brand messaging. This role requires experience in shaping brand voice and editorial content.
You are an accomplished brand writer with a strong background in shaping and scaling brand voice across multiple teams or channels. With experience working within a centralized creative, brand, or writing organization, you understand the nuances of effective communication and collaboration across brand, marketing, communications, design, product, and legal teams. You have a proven track record of developing editorial assets across formats, including video and audio scripts, display copy, and longform customer stories. Your ability to uphold a high bar for craft ensures that all writing reflects clarity, consistency, and creative excellence.
You have experience building naming frameworks, taxonomies, or messaging systems, which allows you to contribute meaningfully to brainstorms, campaign development, and broader brand storytelling across channels. You are comfortable collaborating with leaders and teams across the company, ensuring that content is engaging and aligned with Dropbox's brand. You thrive in environments where you can elevate the craft of writing and help define how a brand connects with its customers.
You have experience in editing and elevating copy from internal teams and freelancers, ensuring that all content meets the high standards expected at Dropbox. Your familiarity with legal and linguistic constraints in writing will be an asset as you navigate the complexities of brand communication.
In this role, you will write display copy for highly visible brand surfaces, including the Dropbox homepage and other critical landing pages. You will develop editorial assets in partnership with creative, design, and production teams, contributing to the overall brand narrative. Your role will involve scaling and evolving Dropbox's brand voice, leading product naming strategy and process, and ensuring that all writing reflects the company's values and mission.
You will serve as a strategic partner in elevating the craft and consistency of writing across Dropbox, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure that all content is clear, engaging, and aligned with the brand. Your contributions will help shape how Dropbox shows up in the world, refining and scaling the brand voice across campaigns and high-impact brand experiences.
Dropbox offers a competitive compensation package, with a pay range in Canada of $154,700—$209,300 CAD. You will have the opportunity to work remotely, allowing for flexibility in your work environment.
