N26 is seeking a Manager of Financial Control and Reconciliation to ensure data integrity across the organization. You'll lead the transformation to an automated control environment and collaborate with Data Engineering and Finance. This role requires 7+ years of experience in Financial Control or Finance Operations within the Banking or FinTech sector.
You have over 7 years of experience in Financial Control, Audit, or Finance Operations, particularly within the Banking or FinTech sector. Your deep understanding of data integrity and financial reporting ensures that every Euro flowing through the Core Banking System is accurately reflected in the ERP. You are adept at leading teams and transforming manual processes into automated solutions, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with complex data sets. Your experience allows you to identify manual intervention points in reconciliation flows and implement automated matching engines and reconciliation software. You thrive in collaborative environments, acting as the primary liaison between Data Engineering and Finance to ensure that data pipelines are built with accounting logic and control requirements in mind.
Your proactive approach to assessing the impact of new product launches on the control environment is crucial. You design accounting flows and control points for every new feature before it goes live, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. You are committed to maintaining best-in-class documentation for all reconciliation processes, making them transparent, repeatable, and audit-proof.
In this role, you will design and oversee the reconciliation framework between the Core Banking System, the ERP, and external reporting tools. You will lead the transformation from manual checks to a high-speed, automated control environment, ensuring data integrity across the N26 Group. Your responsibilities will include continuously reviewing existing processes for compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, identifying risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Data Engineering and Finance, to ensure that all financial data is accurate and reliable. Your role will involve assessing the impact of new product launches on the control environment, designing accounting flows, and establishing control points for new features before they go live. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all reconciliation processes, ensuring they are transparent and audit-proof.
