SolarWinds is seeking a Regional Distribution Channel Manager to drive growth through their distribution network in the APJ region. You'll be responsible for developing strong relationships with distributors and supporting their sales activities. This role requires experience in business planning and technical knowledge.
You are an experienced Distribution Channel Manager with a proven track record in building strong relationships with distributors. You thrive in collaborative environments and are ready to take on the challenge of driving revenue growth through effective business planning. You possess a deep understanding of economic and industry data, which you utilize to diagnose business strengths and weaknesses. Your ability to educate distributors on solutions and support their sales activities is key to your success. You are accountable and empathetic, believing in the power of teamwork to create lasting growth for yourself and others.
Experience in the APJ region is a plus, as is familiarity with the technology sector. You are comfortable working in fast-paced environments and are adaptable to changing market conditions. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
In this role, you will collaborate with distributors to develop comprehensive business plans that align with company objectives. You will focus on pipeline creation, revenue management, enablement, certifications, and marketing activities. Your responsibilities will include analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. You will also provide ongoing support to distributors, helping them to understand and effectively sell SolarWinds solutions. Regularly reviewing performance metrics will be essential to ensure that business plans are on track and to make necessary adjustments.
You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that distributors have the resources they need to succeed. This includes coordinating training sessions, providing marketing materials, and sharing best practices. Your role will also involve attending industry events and conferences to represent SolarWinds and build relationships with potential partners. You will be expected to stay informed about industry developments and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
