The Amazon Studios International Originals is looking for a Creative Coordinator to support the Creative Scripted, Unscripted and Movies teams in Spain.
The successful candidate will be able to effectively multi-task; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround; and efficiently and creatively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the group or other related groups.
The candidate will also have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines and have great organizational skills.
The position is located in Madrid.
Key job responsibilities
- Project Submissions & Tracking
- Manage and process incoming creative submissions (scripts, treatments, pitch decks)
- Maintain detailed database of all submitted projects with current status
- Track projects through various development stages
- Schedule and coordinate creative meetings, pitch sessions, and development calls
- Prepare meeting agendas and materials
- Manage conference room bookings
- Coordinate with internal and external partners
- Project Management
- Assist in preparing presentation materials
- Support development executives with research and materials compilation
A day in the life
A typical day will include scheduling meetings and calls for executives on the team, anticipating and responding to the needs of a variety of scripted, unscripted and movie projects. When needed, you will join internal and external meetings, maintaining notes and a list of action items.
Internal stakeholders are primarily coordinators and executives in neighboring departments at the studio, including Production, Post Production, Finance, Music and Marketing.
External stakeholders are primarily production companies.
- Previous coordinator experience at either a studio, production company or cable/premium/linear television network.
- Fluent in Spanish and English - Self-motivated, passionate and able to work well in a team and alone.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with a high volume workload.
- Strong writing and excellent communication skills. Positive, proactive and able to consistently exercise great judgment.
- Creative problem-solver and team player.
- A demonstrable interest and knowledge of the audiovisual landscape
