Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes experience in hardware engineering and software engineering, particularly with Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) systems and solutions. You possess excellent technical judgment and a solid understanding of distributed systems, which allows you to navigate complex technical discussions with ease. Your communication and presentation skills are top-notch, enabling you to articulate project goals and updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You take accountability and ownership for the project lifecycle, ensuring that all aspects of the program are managed effectively.

Desirable

Experience managing programs and teams in a technical environment is a plus. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools will help you excel in this role. You are adept at problem-solving and negotiation, which allows you to unblock issues and drive project success across multiple teams.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules. Your role will involve setting the direction for programs by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and supervising multiple projects, and organizing cross-project work within the program. You will define program controls, governance, and standards to ensure consistency across Cloud processes and central processes. Managing multiple cross-functional programs simultaneously will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you drive consistency and ensure all leadership and stakeholders are aware of progress and blockers. You will have the chance to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to projects that have a significant impact on the industry. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Join us in shaping the future of AI and machine learning at Google.
