Tanium is seeking an AI Research Engineer Intern to collaborate on AI and machine learning algorithms that enhance autonomous IT capabilities. You'll work with Python and TensorFlow to develop predictive models and analyze large-scale data. This is an entry-level position based in Emeryville, CA.
You are an aspiring AI Research Engineer with a strong foundation in Python and machine learning principles. You have experience or coursework in data analysis and are eager to apply your skills to real-world problems. You have a passion for developing intelligent systems and a keen interest in AI technologies. As an AI Research Engineer Intern at Tanium, you will collaborate with our data science and engineering teams to design and implement AI and machine learning algorithms that improve our autonomous IT capabilities. You will have the opportunity to develop and evaluate machine learning models across various use cases, including anomaly detection, threat identification, and performance optimization.
You will analyze large-scale endpoint data to extract meaningful insights and develop predictive models that can drive decision-making. Additionally, you will assist in building data pipelines to efficiently process and analyze endpoint data at scale, ensuring that our systems can handle the demands of real-world applications.
Your role will involve hands-on experimentation and prototyping, allowing you to contribute directly to the development of innovative solutions that enhance our product offerings. You will work closely with experienced professionals who will guide you through the intricacies of AI research and application, providing you with valuable mentorship and support.
Tanium offers a competitive hourly rate for this internship, ranging from $55 to $60 per hour, along with a housing stipend and 401k matching. You will also receive a monthly allowance for communications reimbursement. We believe in fostering an inclusive environment where everyone has opportunities to succeed and grow. You will have five days set aside as volunteer time off (VTO) to contribute to the communities you live in and give back to the causes you care about most.
