Wizeline is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage accounting activities, including month-end close and financial reporting. This role requires expertise in payroll and intercompany transactions.
You have a strong background in accounting with experience in managing general ledger activities and preparing financial reports. You are detail-oriented and possess the ability to perform month-end close activities accurately. Your knowledge of payroll processes and intercompany transactions is essential, and you are comfortable working with various internal departments and external stakeholders. You have effective communication skills, particularly with local banks, and are willing to learn and solve complex problems. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to professional development.
In this role, you will perform essential accounting activities, including recording transactions in the general ledger and preparing monthly accruals. You will be responsible for conducting month-end close activities, ensuring that all entries are accurately recorded and variance analyses are reviewed. You will prepare and support intercompany transactions and generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the corporate entity. Additionally, you will review and approve monthly payroll, support new hire enrollments, and manage employee terminations, including benefits reconciliations. You will also ensure that payroll tax and social security contributions are processed accurately and on time, and you will review vendor and customer invoices to ensure compliance with local and federal taxes. Working closely with the Treasury, you will manage accounts payable activities and prepare weekly cash flow forecasts. You will collaborate with auditors by providing the necessary information and support various internal departments.
