Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer II to contribute to the quality and reliability of Power BI by designing and implementing scalable testing strategies and automation frameworks. You'll work with Azure technologies and integrate AI into development workflows.
You have a solid background in software engineering, with experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks that support reliable software releases. Your expertise in Azure technologies, particularly Power BI, allows you to contribute effectively to the quality and reliability of data products. You are familiar with secure design practices and understand the importance of compliance in engineering systems. Your collaborative nature enables you to work across disciplines and geographies, aligning on engineering goals and quality standards. You are passionate about integrating AI and GenAI technologies into your workflows, enhancing engineering efficiency and productivity. Experience with data integration and big data analytics is a plus, as is familiarity with messaging and real-time analytics. Your work will involve integrating GenAI and telemetry into testing and development workflows, helping to drive a data culture within the organization. You will also participate in high-quality weekly releases for Power BI Service and monthly releases for Power BI Desktop, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
