Legal and Compliance Analyst, Litigation

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal or legal analyst, ideally within a law firm or corporate in-house legal department. Your background has equipped you with the skills necessary to assist in-house and outside attorneys with all facets of managing litigation, including employment, personal injury, commercial and business litigation, and consumer complaints. You possess a strong understanding of e-discovery processes and document reviews, which are crucial for this role. Your ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment is essential, as is your excellent judgment and discretion. You are highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring that all legal documentation is managed effectively.

Desirable

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, along with paralegal certification. Experience in document collection and electronic discovery, fact-finding and reporting, and case management will set you apart. You thrive in environments where you can utilize your analytical skills to support legal teams and contribute to the successful management of litigation cases.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assist in-house and outside attorneys with all facets of managing litigation. This includes performing e-discovery searches and document reviews, processing litigation holds, tracking case status, and calendaring deadlines. You will draft responses and gather documents in response to subpoenas, demand letters, and personnel file requests. Additionally, you will assist with preparing responses to claims, demand letters, agency charges, and litigation requests. Your responsibilities will also involve handling small matters such as domestic and international consumer small claims matters, wage claims, and debt collection. You will support the legal team with general tasks as needed, ensuring that all legal processes are followed and deadlines are met.
