Teamshares is seeking an onsite Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities and oversee the NetSuite accounting system. This role requires expertise in NetSuite administration and process improvement.
You have a solid background in accounting, ideally with experience in managing accounting systems like NetSuite. You understand the importance of data integrity and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date. You are comfortable troubleshooting issues and providing training to team members, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. Your ability to partner with leadership to align accounting systems with business growth is a key strength. You are proactive in identifying areas for process improvement, ensuring that the finance team operates efficiently and effectively.
Experience in a distribution or logistics environment is a plus, as is familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards. You may also have a background in process automation or data analysis, which can enhance your contributions to the team.
In this role, you will serve as the owner of the NetSuite accounting system, managing configurations and ensuring that the system supports the finance team's needs. You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Your responsibilities will also include troubleshooting any issues that arise within the system and working closely with IT to resolve them. You will train team members on best practices for using NetSuite, ensuring that everyone is equipped to utilize the system effectively. Additionally, you will collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements, helping to streamline operations and enhance data integrity.
