Who you are

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive painting experience and are skilled in matching and mixing paint colors. You are familiar with using water-based paint and have experience working in a high-tech environment. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the business's needs, including working mandatory overtime when necessary. You possess a valid driver’s license and can read, write, speak, and understand English.

Desirable

Experience with state-of-the-art tools and techniques in automotive painting is a plus. You may have certifications or training in automotive painting that enhance your qualifications for this role.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Level Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for painting vehicles inside our paint booths, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our standards. You will match and mix paint colors to achieve the desired results, utilizing your expertise to deliver exceptional work. You will work closely with other team members to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure that vehicles are painted on time to meet customer expectations. You will also be expected to uphold safety standards and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Your role may involve training entry-level painters and sharing your knowledge to help them develop their skills.
