What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities — your role is vital in ensuring that our data centers operate at peak efficiency. You will work directly with electrical and mechanical equipment, including standby diesel generators, UPS systems, and cooling towers. Your hands-on approach will help you identify and resolve issues quickly, contributing to our goal of achieving 99.999% uptime.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, conducting inspections, and implementing improvements to existing systems. You will also participate in incident response efforts, ensuring that any disruptions are addressed swiftly and effectively.
