Overview

Relativity is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Stage Fluids team, focusing on the design and delivery of fluid systems for rockets. This role requires expertise in mechanical engineering principles and a passion for aerospace innovation.

You have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in designing and delivering complex fluid systems. You possess a deep understanding of propulsion systems and fluid dynamics, which enables you to tackle the unique challenges presented in rocket design. Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Relativity, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of fluid systems that are critical to the operation of the Terran R rocket. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, ensuring that all systems are integrated and function as intended.

You will take ownership of the design process, from initial concept through production and testing. This includes conducting simulations, analyzing performance data, and making necessary adjustments to optimize system functionality. Your role will also involve troubleshooting issues that arise during testing and providing solutions that maintain the integrity of the rocket's systems.

You will participate in cross-functional meetings, sharing your insights and expertise to guide the team in making informed decisions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Terran R vehicle, as you work to meet the growing demand for launch capacity.
