Google is seeking a Head of Security Sales for Google Cloud to lead the go-to-market strategy for cybersecurity solutions in Japan. This role requires extensive experience in sales within the cybersecurity space and familiarity with Google Cloud offerings.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 12 years of experience in a sales role within the enterprise software, cloud, or cybersecurity space. Your background includes identifying cybersecurity use cases to solve customer issues and selling cybersecurity technology to clients. You have experience in leadership within a quota-carrying team, demonstrating skills in people management, mentorship, and coaching. Your expertise extends to selling cybersecurity solutions or services, and you possess knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and ecosystem, including key players, trends, and technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing the go-to-market strategy for Google Cloud's cybersecurity solutions. You will leverage your understanding of the Japan market to build and scale business organizations effectively. Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of the cybersecurity business in Japan, such as forecasting, team management and development, and building relationships with stakeholders, particularly the Cloud Sales teams in the market. You will identify and develop partnerships and alliances within the Japan cybersecurity ecosystem and represent Google Cloud Cybersecurity at industry events and conferences, contributing to thought leadership and market awareness.
