Carvana is seeking an Experienced Automotive Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician to join their team in Akron, NY. You'll be responsible for repairing automotive interiors and glass, requiring at least 3 years of relevant experience.
You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in automotive interior repair and/or glass repair, showcasing your expertise in handling various materials such as cloth, leather, plastic, and vinyl. Your skills include repairing center consoles, seats, dashboards, headliners, and stitching, demonstrating your attention to detail and craftsmanship. You are proficient in color matching and dying cloth and fabric, ensuring that repairs blend seamlessly with the vehicle's interior. Additionally, you possess the ability to repair stars, bullseyes, combination breaks, cracks, and scratches in windows and windshields, making you a versatile technician in the automotive repair field.
While not required, experience with high-tech tools and equipment in automotive repair environments would be beneficial. A valid driver’s license and the ability to communicate effectively in English are essential for this role.
As a Mid-Level Interior Repair/Glass Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs to automotive interiors and glass. You will work in one of our state-of-the-art Inspection Centers, utilizing advanced tools to ensure that every repair meets our high standards. Your role will involve assessing damage, determining the best repair methods, and executing repairs efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction. You will also collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure that vehicles are ready for delivery on time, contributing to our commitment to exceptional customer service.
You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in automotive repair. Continuous learning and skill development are encouraged, and you will have access to training programs to enhance your expertise and career growth within the company. Your contributions will play a vital role in Carvana's mission to provide a seamless and enjoyable vehicle purchasing experience for our customers.
Carvana offers a competitive wage ranging from $23 to $30 per hour, along with a $4,000 bonus for eligible employees. You will also receive a $1 shift differential for working the 2nd shift.
