Job Description

We are seeking a single-threaded-owner to lead Global Optimization for Sponsored Products and Brands (GO-SPB) – a critical initiative driving optimized performance for shoppers, suppliers and Amazon free cash flow in each individual marketplace WW. This leader will own the SPB experiences, launches, and performance and optimization for each marketplace in Europe, Japan, and Emerging Markets, partnering with teams across SPB that own core launches and services.

This leader will be the SPB point of contact across different business leaders in each marketplace - building localized insights and models for entitlement and Best-at-Amazon or target performance for each marketplace. They will partner with Stores leadership and Monetization teams as well as Ads Monetization teams, owning reporting on the business as well as charting the path to reaching the Best-at-Amazon benchmark for all marketplaces.

This role will lead a high-performing team of 50+ members, consisting of direct reports as well as members embedded in core teams. The GO-SPB team will operate as a high-leverage, cross-functional optimization force, delivering results that scale to billions of clicks, sales, and revenue.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the intersection of product, performance, and international expansion. It’s ideal for a leader who thrives on complexity, drives measurable results, and is passionate about elevating customer and advertiser outcomes across diverse global markets.

- 8+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product- Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $237,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $350,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
