Amazon is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Delivery Manager to lead the infrastructure management team within AWS. You'll be responsible for managing network capacity delivery and driving automation to improve quality. Who you are

You have a proven track record in technology management with at least 5 years of experience in people management and a robust technical understanding of data center operations. You are driven and possess the vision to elevate AWS Data Center Operations to new heights. Your experience includes creating sustainable processes and standards that enhance efficiency and quality without compromising network availability.

You have a strong background in managing and mentoring teams, tracking budgets, and providing strategic direction. You understand the importance of delivering network capacity on time with zero rework and are adept at proposing technical solutions that align with business goals. Your leadership style fosters team development and growth, ensuring that your team members thrive in their roles.

Desirable

Experience with low voltage structured cabling and network equipment installation is a plus. Familiarity with automation tools and processes that reduce delivery cycle times will set you apart. You are comfortable navigating complex technical environments and can effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

As the Senior Infrastructure Delivery Manager, you will oversee the implementation and delivery of inbound capacity and equipment for AWS data centers. You will manage a growing team, ensuring their development and growth while driving the mission of delivering network capacity on time. Your role will involve creating and refining processes that enhance operational efficiency and quality.

You will be responsible for identifying automation opportunities that streamline operations and reduce delivery cycle times. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will ensure that all network equipment and related infrastructures are installed and delivered according to specifications. Your strategic direction will guide the team in achieving operational excellence and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

You will also track budgets and resource allocation, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints. Your ability to mentor and develop team members will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. You will play a key role in driving low voltage structured cabling initiatives across the Amazon data center platform, contributing to the overall success of AWS Infrastructure Services.
