Overview

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Automotive Detailer / Lot Attendant to support their fast-growing used automotive retail operations. You'll be responsible for detailing vehicles, moving them between departments, and inspecting for defects. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Who you are

You are looking for an entry-level position in the automotive industry and are eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. You possess a valid driver’s license and are able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently. You are at least 18 years of age and can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. You are comfortable working in various weather conditions and understand the importance of safety equipment in your role.

Desirable

While not required, any previous experience in automotive detailing or related fields would be beneficial. A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills will help you thrive in this position. You are adaptable and can handle the demands of a busy production environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will have the opportunity to choose from several positions, including Detailer, Lot Attendant, Photobooth Associate, and Inspection Associate. As a Detailer, you will be responsible for detailing vehicles, which includes washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing to ensure they meet Carvana's high standards. As a Lot Attendant, you will move vehicles from one department to another within the Inspection Centers, ensuring smooth operations. If you take on the role of Photobooth Associate, you will capture high-quality photos of vehicles for customer viewing. As an Inspection Associate, you will inspect the interior and exterior of vehicles, accurately identifying any imperfections or defects that need to be addressed.
