Pinterest is seeking a Measurement Lead to drive measurement strategy and operations for key retail clients. You'll utilize SQL and Google Analytics to deliver insights and foster advertising growth. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision-making.
You have 5+ years of experience in analytics or measurement roles, ideally within the retail or advertising sectors — you've developed a deep understanding of measurement frameworks and how to apply them to drive business growth. Your expertise in SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, and you are comfortable using Google Analytics to derive actionable insights. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to convey complex measurement concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, allowing you to navigate ambiguous measurement questions and develop innovative solutions. You are passionate about data and its potential to inform strategic decisions, and you are eager to contribute to a mission-driven company like Pinterest.
Experience with advanced analytical tools and data science methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with omnichannel retail strategies. A background in advertising measurement or experience working with large global brands would be advantageous. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies as the landscape evolves.
In this role, you will surface opportunities for integrated measurement and iterative learning for Pinterest’s largest North American omnichannel retail clients — your work will encourage the growth of advertising investments on the platform. You will serve as the day-to-day measurement contact for key strategic global advertisers, driving the measurement strategy, operations, goals, and technical integrations. You will develop learning plans in partnership with Industry Managers and Client Partners across both enterprise marketing and retail media network teams. Your role will involve independently navigating and responding to custom measurement questions that fall outside of Pinterest’s standard solutions. You will deploy advanced analytical solutions and standard data science tooling as needed to build understanding of the world’s largest retailers and foster trust in Pinterest as a growth platform. You will communicate complex measurement concepts and findings to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and understanding across the board.
