Amazon is hiring a Senior Technical Training Specialist to lead the development of the Role-Based Identifier certification system. You'll collaborate across operations to create AI-enabled certifications and personalized learning journeys. This role requires expertise in learning and development and certification design.
You have extensive experience in learning and development, particularly in designing certification programs that enhance career mobility and skill validation. Your background includes developing scalable products that support clear career pathways, and you are adept at collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with organizational standards. You possess a strong understanding of technical products and have a proven track record of launching successful technical learning initiatives.
Your expertise in certification design enables you to create integrated, AI-enabled certifications that meet the evolving needs of the workforce. You are skilled in writing strategy documents, Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), and Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) to manage product designs effectively. You thrive in environments that require innovative thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement.
You are results-driven, with a goal-oriented mindset that focuses on successfully launching multiple Role-Based Identifiers and AI assessments by set deadlines. Your ability to identify onboarding efficiencies based on certification completion is a key asset, as is your experience in developing robust external validation processes.
Experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment is a plus, as is familiarity with industry standards for certification programs. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have a knack for fostering collaboration across different operational areas.
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of Amazon's Role-Based Identifier (RBI) certification system, focusing on continuous improvement capabilities. You will collaborate with various teams across Amazon operations to design and implement RBI certifications for high-priority continuous development topics. Your responsibilities will include designing AI evaluations and personalized learning recommendations that enhance the learning experience for employees.
You will write and manage strategy documents, PRDs, and BRDs to ensure that product designs align with organizational goals. Coordinating the development and quality control of training materials will be a critical part of your role, as will identifying efficiencies in onboarding processes based on certification completion rates.
Your work will directly impact the creation of market-ready RBI certification programs that are recognized by the industry. You will partner with teams across Amazon to ensure the successful adoption of RBI standards, driving the creation of integrated certifications that support career mobility.
