Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Transportation & Logistics Manager to manage our transportation and logistics network. Carriers will include national parcel carriers, regional delivery providers, same day providers, LTL, white glove services, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing processes, finding and executing savings initiatives, driving efficiency through data/KPIs, building new data processes from scratch, and how to lead others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Savings: Comfortable managing a P&L and being held accountable to identify, execute, and monitor new savings projects.

• Operational Oversight: Manage daily shipping operations and carrier relationships across a large supplier base doing B2B and B2C deliveries

• Team Leadership: You will have offshore resources, which will grow as our company continues to grow. Ample opportunities to grow your team if you can provide the business case to do so.

• Performance Metrics: Be the single threaded owner for shipping KPIs that will be tracked in weekly leadership meetings with CEO and others. KPIs will encompass both operational and financial metrics.

• Scaling processes: Develop scalable processes and systems that enable the business to move through rapid growth periods, including leveraging new technologies and talent. Including but not limited to rate shoppers, TMS, and freight audit

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, including developing new reporting within company’s new reporting system

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and support for organizational goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field

• 3-6 years of experience in fulfillment, transportation, or a similar role. Manager experience preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Proven experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in order management systems, SQL, Gsuite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
