Tanium is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help large organizations achieve visibility and control over complex environments. You'll work closely with sales and customer success teams to deliver technical solutions and conduct platform demonstrations. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to translate customer needs into effective solutions.
You have a strong technical background and an uncanny ability to understand customer needs — you excel at translating complex technical concepts into clear solutions for diverse audiences. Your experience in pre-sales environments has equipped you with the skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from technical users to executive decision-makers. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with sales and customer success teams to drive technology evaluations and deliver impactful demonstrations.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to lead deep-dive technical discussions and present tailored solutions that address specific customer challenges. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess customers' current technology and architecture, ensuring that the solutions you propose are both relevant and effective. You are passionate about helping organizations leverage technology to improve their operations and security.

As a Solutions Engineer at Tanium, you will play a crucial role in the sales process by engaging with potential and existing customers to understand their business challenges. You will oversee initial discovery meetings, providing platform demonstrations and conducting technical Proof of Value engagements. Your ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions will be key to positioning Tanium effectively in the market.
You will collaborate closely with the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from initial discovery to deal closure, helping to shorten sales cycles and improve closing rates. Your expertise will guide customers through the technology evaluation stage, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of how Tanium's solutions can address their operational and security needs.
In addition to customer interactions, you will contribute to the development of tailored solutions that align with customer requirements. Your role will involve analyzing customer feedback and technology landscapes to refine Tanium's offerings continually.
