Block is seeking a Global Ad Tech Partnerships & Strategy Lead to advance their advertising ecosystem. You'll identify and negotiate strategic partnerships across the advertising landscape. This role requires strong strategic foresight and operational excellence.
You have a proven track record in developing and executing strategic partnerships within the advertising technology landscape. With at least 5 years of experience, you understand the nuances of commerce, media, and technology, and how they intersect to create value for businesses. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to secure beneficial deals that drive revenue growth. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Legal. You are data-driven, using analytics to inform your strategies and decisions, ensuring that every partnership you pursue aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
Experience in the financial technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with performance-driven media solutions. You have a strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including data and measurement providers, and global ad platforms. Your ability to think strategically while executing operational tasks sets you apart, making you a valuable asset to any team.
In this role, you will lead the charge in advancing Block's advertising ecosystem by identifying and operationalizing strategic partnerships. You will negotiate deals with various stakeholders in the advertising landscape, ensuring that these partnerships create new revenue opportunities for Block and measurable outcomes for our merchants. Your role will require you to stay ahead of industry trends, understanding how changes in the advertising landscape can impact Block's strategy. You will collaborate with product teams to integrate advertising solutions into existing platforms, enhancing the value proposition for our customers. Additionally, you will work closely with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new advertising products, ensuring that they resonate with our target audience. Your operational excellence will be key in executing these strategies effectively, driving growth for both Block and its partners.
