Vision Scientist

The Apple Vision Science team is looking for an enthusiastic vision scientist to support the development and advancement of cutting-edge imaging and display solutions, applications, and technologies for current and future Apple products. The team features a highly collaborative and hands-on environment that fosters scientific and engineering excellence, creativity, and innovation in the interdisciplinary areas of vision science, image processing, color science, neuroscience, and optics. This position focuses on developing vision models/metrics and carrying out advanced psychophysical experiments to support the sophisticated imaging and display technologies in the Apple ecosystem. - Develop models/metrics to quantify user experience - Compare and optimize algorithms for the best possible user experience - Design and conduct robust studies of user experience, human vision, and image quality - Guide feature and spec definition for future products based on aforementioned metrics
