Who you are

You have a strong background in site reliability engineering with a focus on observability and monitoring — your experience includes bridging visibility gaps across complex application landscapes. You are skilled in leveraging modern observability solutions to ensure proactive issue detection and rapid incident resolution. Your technical expertise allows you to optimize monitoring stacks and transform raw data into actionable insights, ensuring that development and operations teams have the telemetry needed to maintain high-availability systems.

You possess advanced knowledge of monitoring platforms such as Splunk, LogicMonitor, and AppDynamics — you can create complex dashboards, develop advanced queries, and manage system-level monitoring effectively. Your data-driven mindset enables you to use metrics to influence technical decisions and infrastructure investments, ensuring that your strategies are aligned with business goals. You are a strong collaborator, acting as a bridge between infrastructure stability and application performance, and you proactively identify trends in system behavior to prevent outages before they impact the business.

Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the visibility, performance, and health of CI&T’s application landscape. You will identify and remediate visibility gaps across a landscape of 100+ applications, ensuring full-stack monitoring from infrastructure to the end-user experience. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing modern monitoring patterns to transition from reactive alerting to proactive anomaly detection.

You will manage the platform tools, optimizing log aggregation in Splunk, creating complex dashboards, and developing advanced queries to support troubleshooting and security auditing. Additionally, you will oversee system-level monitoring with LogicMonitor, refining threshold logic to reduce alert fatigue and improve response times.

Your role will also involve collaborating closely with development and operations teams to ensure they have the telemetry needed to maintain high-availability systems. You will proactively identify trends in system behavior, using your insights to prevent outages and improve overall system reliability. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to data-driven decision-making, using metrics to influence technical strategies and infrastructure investments.
