You'll work with languages like Go, Java, Rust, and C++, and utilize technologies such as Kafka and Elasticsearch. This role requires significant backend programming experience.
You have a BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience, along with significant backend programming experience in one or more languages such as Go, Java, Rust, or C++. You have a strong understanding of distributed systems and have tackled challenges related to high durability and low latency. You are comfortable diving into low-level details when necessary and prioritize simple designs and performance in your work. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment that values its engineers and customers. You are excited about leveraging AI tools to enhance your coding and problem-solving skills, or you are eager to learn how to do so.
Experience with multi-tenant environments and fault-tolerant systems is a plus. Familiarity with real-time data processing and high-availability architectures will set you apart. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys building relationships and contributing to a positive office culture.
