Databricks is hiring a Senior Staff Fullstack Engineer to lead the Enterprise Applications team in building AI-powered solutions. You'll work with technologies like Java, JavaScript, and AWS to define technical roadmaps and mentor junior engineers.

Who you are

You have over 12 years of software engineering experience, with a strong track record of technical leadership and impact. You have spent at least 3 years in engineering leadership roles, serving as the technical owner for the software systems owned by your team. Your expertise spans across various programming languages, including Java and JavaScript, and you are comfortable working with cloud platforms like AWS. You are passionate about mentoring junior engineers and raising the bar on engineering excellence within your team.

You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to build end-to-end, AI-powered solutions. You have a knack for defining technical strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals, ensuring that your team delivers high-quality software systems that meet internal workflows. You are adept at eliminating technical risks by solving complex development tasks and addressing the most challenging technical issues facing your team.

Desirable

Experience with Python is a plus, as it complements your existing skill set and enhances your ability to contribute to various projects. Familiarity with REST API design and implementation will also be beneficial in your role, allowing you to create seamless integrations between different systems.

What you'll do

As a Senior Staff Fullstack Engineer at Databricks, you will play a critical role in delivering end-to-end applications that power the business and empower employees with assistive technologies.
