The Prime Delivery Experience Charter oversees the Prime badge, which generated trillions of impressions worldwide. The Prime Badge serves as a crucial signal to assist millions of Prime customers in their shopping experience on Amazon. Hundreds of internal clients in Amazon's retail space leverage the Prime badge runtime system, which this team manages to deliver a superior Prime delivery that highlights benefits such as free shipping, fast delivery, and free returns to Prime customers globally. When customers see the Prime badge, it symbolizes the pinnacle of the Prime delivery experience. A critical aspect of the DEX Prime Charter is determining the strategic display of the Prime badge to customers across various segments, regions, marketplaces, and product types, ensuring this strategy remains consistent throughout the customer journey.

Key job responsibilities
- Build the next-gen shopping and delivery experience.
- Work on full-stack solutions to scale delivery information globally.
- Collaborate with business, design, and engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Own end-to-end architecture, design, and development of highly scalable, low-latency software.

A day in the life
You'll collaborate with fellow SDEs, TPMs, and PMs to ship products and drive impact across global marketplaces where Prime delivery benefit program is launched, supporting multiple locales and languages and CX variations as needed.

You will work with the team to brainstorm, discuss, design and deliver software products in an agile enviorment that focuses not only on the intitial launch, but ensuring long-term OE (Operational Excellence) success of the product.

About the team
The DEX Prime Badge team owns and operates two highly critical (Tier-1) CX services and multiple critical (Tier-2) services that enable the Prime badge across Amazon’s retail technology stack. The team’s systems integrate with all major Amazon retail pages, including Search, Detail, Cart and Checkout pages. The team's services powers the rendering of Prime badges at a global scale, supporting over hundreds of billions of monthly Prime badge impressions world wide. - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
