The Senior PXT Specialist, Operational Excellence is a strategic role responsible for driving EU People Experience and Technology (PXT) programs within the OnePXT DAN region. This position oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of PXT initiatives that align with organizational objectives and to support field teams in preparing required works council involvements. The role requires expertise in project management, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement and works council negotiations. The Senior PXT Specialist operates in a complex, matrixed structure, influencing without direct authority and managing multiple programs simultaneously. This position significantly impacts Amazon's OneOps Business Lines across the Germany, Austria, and Netherlands (DAN) region, affecting thousands of employees and numerous sites.

Key job responsibilities
Manage multiple PXT programs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery.

Consult on works council involvement and support local negotiation teams to enable certain initiatives being subject to co-determination.

Implement project management frameworks, utilizing analytics for data-driven actions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Tech, Research & Analytics, EU & country PXT field teams, and central partner teamsto execute program deliverables.

Contribute to strategy development and create white papers on PXT programs, providing regional input for central roadmaps.

Drive program completion, demonstrating resilience in ambiguous situations.

Navigate complex organizational structures, providing clarity to leadership.

Prioritize deliverables to maximize PXT business impact, exercising excellent judgment.

Communicate recommendations clearly and compellingly, both verbally and in writing.

Identify and resolve issues independently, showcasing initiative in unfamiliar circumstances.

Engage diverse stakeholders and internal customers, influencing without direct authority.

Drive PXT functional excellence and process improvement across the region.

Serve as a centralized support and advocate for best practices and alignment in the DAN region.

Navigate and adapt to the regions unique legal framework within the EU context.

A day in the life
- Coordinate and manage PXT projects in country
- Track project status and update stakeholders on progress
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and drive solutions
- Develop and refine project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Engage in strategic discussions with regional leadership
- Draft communications, presentations, white-papers
- Monitor program metrics and KPIs
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote best practices
- Respond to inquiries and provide guidance to team members and stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to program success
- Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory changes affecting the region- Degree in HR, economics, law or social sciences and at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position
- First experience in managing complex projects and / or programs with heterogeneous teams.
- Good knowledge of work and social law
- First success in the cooperation with works councils/unions in negotiation of complex topics.
- Business fluent German and English spoken and written.- Good analytical skills
- Confident handling of MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to senior leadership
- Familiarity with HR technologies and People Experience (PX) best practices.
- High social skills
- Flexibility and very good organizational skills.
- Fast comprehension and good judgment.
- Strong team player.
