Vanta is seeking a Manager of Solutions Engineering to lead a high-performing team focused on Enterprise and Strategic sales. You'll partner with Sales to navigate complex sales cycles and improve technical discovery. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills.
You have a proven track record of leading teams in a technical sales environment, ideally with experience in solutions engineering or a related field. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and empowers team members to excel in their roles. You understand the nuances of enterprise sales cycles and can effectively coach your team to navigate complex technical discussions with clients. You are adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that your team meets the evolving needs of the business. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are passionate about building scalable processes that enhance the customer experience and drive sales success.
Experience in security or compliance standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001 would be a plus, as would familiarity with trust management platforms. A background in working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product, will help you succeed in this role.
As the Manager of Solutions Engineering at Vanta, you will lead and coach a growing team of Solutions Engineers focused on Enterprise and Strategic sales. You will partner closely with Sales to navigate complex sales cycles, improving technical discovery, qualification, demo effectiveness, and validation motions like proof of concept. Your role will involve building repeatable, scalable pre-sales processes that support the achievement of technical sales excellence. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure that prospective and existing customers receive a world-class experience. You will also play a critical role in shaping the technical sales motion for Vanta’s most strategic opportunities, helping to unlock new markets and accelerate expansion into regulated industries. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the success of the Enterprise Solutions Engineering team.
