What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Checkout & Payments team, you will lead a full-stack engineering group responsible for the entire payment processing lifecycle. You will oversee the development and maintenance of systems that handle billing address collection, payment information, and both on-session and asynchronous payment processing. Your role will involve driving the evolution of payment gateway integrations, ensuring that the systems are secure, performant, and user-friendly. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to align engineering initiatives with product and business priorities, ensuring that the checkout experience meets the needs of customers worldwide. You will participate in incident command rotations, helping to manage and resolve any issues that arise in the payment systems. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of reliability and continuous improvement within the team, as you encourage engineers to innovate and excel in their roles.
