You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — you understand the intricacies of maintaining mission-critical technology infrastructure and have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex equipment. Your expertise in electrical systems, including three-phase electrical systems, UPSs, and generators, allows you to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You are detail-oriented and committed to achieving an extraordinary uptime of 99.999%, making you a critical guardian of technological infrastructure. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists to solve challenging problems.
Experience with data center operations or similar environments is a plus — you have a keen interest in cloud infrastructure and are eager to learn about AWS services and technologies. As an Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of our data centers — your responsibilities will include operating and troubleshooting critical facilities, ensuring that all systems, including diesel generators and cooling towers, are functioning optimally.
